Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
Being a parent can feel like one of the hardest jobs on the planet. We know how important a job it is and we want to get it right. We aspire to be overflowing with no-nonsense, age-appropriate kindness but we are all too aware that we don’t always manage it. We can struggle to understand why our children behave like that or what we are supposed to do about it.
Just as, with many other important things in life, it’s worth taking some time to think about what’s actually going on. Circle of Security Parenting© (COS-P) groups are designed to help us do just that. The COS-P approach is used globally to help parents from diverse countries, backgrounds and families. Studies show it helps us reflect on what we are doing and not yet doing to help our children to thrive.
