Dr Clare Gates

Dr Clare Gates (MRCPsych) is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist working in private practice in London and Windsor. She has extensive experience in general Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and special interests in clinical applications of Attachment Theory and Infant Mental Health. She graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1988 and trained as a physician obtaining the MRCP diploma before switching to psychiatry in the early 1990s. She completed her higher specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry on the St Georges Medical School training scheme, obtaining her CCST in 2000. After eight years employed as an NHS consultant in North West Surrey, she resigned her post to focus on promotion of Circle of Security Parenting in the UK working with Jenny Peters as co-founder of The Centre, and to establish her private practice.

 

Jenny Peters

Jenny Peters (BA MA Oxon, MSC LSE) did a combined social work and social policy Masters at the LSE, from 1992-1994, and worked for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in a community Children and Families team from 1994-1997. In 1998 she started working for St Paul’s Anglican Fellowship as their Children and Families worker. In 2002 she started working for St Mary’s Bryanston Square as Head of their children and families work in the local community. Some of the projects she has set up are: weekly toddler groups, Mum to Mum (a mentoring programme for new mothers) Circle of Security Parenting Groups, marriage preparation and Hold Me Tight marriage courses. Since July 2013 she has worked as the director of The Centre.

 

Kate Logan

Kate Logan has worked in the urban regeneration field for over 10 years. Providing strategies and developing action plans for local communities to help local public/private partnerships to reinvigorate run down town centres and areas in need of both social and financial regeneration. For a number of years, she worked closely with Neighbourhood Managers and Police Wardens, providing advice, research and good practice in helping to run much needed projects in local communities. She has also  run quite a number of Associations providing good practice advice, membership provision  and organised many awards, courses, conferences and events on their behalf.
